Kashmir white granite is a white based granite with brown and black dots. These dots or granules are present in every single piece of Kashmir white granite. The stone is sometimes also known as cashmere white. This granite is ideal for kitchen counter tops, backsplash areas, and is also a very popular ground paving stone. Predominantly this tone is preferred as a counter top material. The light colour of the stone will make your kitchens look elegant and brighter. This property of the stone make it preferred over darker stones for kitchen counter tops. This type of white granite is quarried in Tamil Nadu state of India.
Kashmir White granite counter tops are aesthetically appealing and are easy to maintain. The durability of granite can never be questioned. Precautions to maintain Kashmir White Granite
- Any spillage should be cleaned immediately.
- Any dark spill, if allowed to sit for a while, will permeate the porous surface of the granite and cause staining.
- A sealer and wax shiner is recommended once in every couple of years, to maintain the sheen of the Kashmir white granite over a period of time.
